Job Description:

The Political Social Media Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the social media presence of a political campaign or advocacy organization. This includes developing and implementing a social media strategy, managing and creating content for social media channels, and analyzing social media metrics. The Political Social Media Operations Manager will also be responsible for engaging with followers, responding to comments and inquiries, and building a strong online community.

  • Manage and create content for social media channels
  • Analyze social media metrics
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and inquiries, and build a strong online community

Job Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with content creation and graphic design is a plus

Compensation Range:

$45,000 – $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Schedule:

The Political Social Media Operations Manager will be expected to work full-time, typically Monday through Friday. The schedule may include evening and weekend work, as needed.

Experience Requirements:

At least 3-5 years of experience in social media management is required. Experience in a political campaign or advocacy organization is preferred.
